hello sir glenngso,
1. pls re-check your map as there is already existing poi's on some of your wpts (ex. ice plant, BPI Nepo mart)
2. is your casino widus parking wpt located at entrance? pls note that there is also an already existing poi for that casino.
3. pls re-check distances and indicate on comment field if it is on a track not yet on the map, better yet, pls include the raw track for reference purposes.

I. Should waypoints necessarily be located at the center of the POI?

No. We would rather prefer that the waypoints be at the side of the street. The same reason that waypoints of subdivisions were moved to the gates/entrances...imagine if it is located in the middle of the subdivision...gps will route you first to the middle of the subdivision before it says that you have arrived at your destination. Better if it says "arriving at destination" and you're at the gate asking the guard for someone's house. Unless of course it is searchable by street name, but that's another matter.

For other establishments like food chains, buildings, etc....it would be better if the waypoint is located in parking areas in front of the building near the street. No need really to get at the middle of the structure. If this will be the case, most of our waypoints will be located inside the building which will make all of them too far from the road. Hope this clears things up.

Exception to mentioned above are waypoints inside malls where they may be placed far from road and inside the mall polygon.

pls verify if parking wpts are located on entrances.
and pls remove the map from your file (map tab on left side- as there is 1 selected on your file. pls do not include maps).
