Please upload you waypoints here for version 1.06

Please only waypoints. corrections or tracks that are posted here will most likely not make it in the final 1.06 version.

please make sure that you assigned the correct symbol to the waypoints. unknown symbols will most likely not make it to the map...

if you want to include the address of the poi, do it as follows: mypoi@streetname
example: Mcdo@makati ave housenumber if any you put behind the streetname. mcdo@jupiter crn makati ave222 (example only)

if you want to include the telephone number of the poi, do it as follows: mypoi#02888888888

if you want to include both: mcdo@makati ave#0288888888 (or whatever the correct address and phone is)

or alternative put the address between brackets caltex(makati ave)


Please put all your explanation in your gdb file or on the accompanying screenshot ( i do not check the text while integrating the data, i only check the attachments... If it's not in the attachment, i don't get to see it).
Please if you use a screenshot name it the same as the gdb file.
Pasensya na, i'm sure we'll get this streamlined sooner or later...

waypoints in kml files wont make it to the map.
convert with gpsbabel to gpx open gpx in mapsource and edit them there. check how to section all is (should be) explained there

please upload to the correction tracks a file with the caltex and the shell to be deleted.
please next time, assign proper symbols to all (barbershops and others, just give building ), there's nothing i can do with diamond markers or flags. unless we all can agree on a standard...
why so many posts, you can do it in one gdb file. check the first post in this thread on how to add address information.

Kaya ko inihiwalay para pag may i edit ako, per avenue na lang ang pag edit. ok lang ba?

BTW, do I have to make a "request" for every post I make? Request para sa CONTRIBUTORS MAP?

for the corrections:
just make a new gdb file.
place the points that need deleting
name the file remove.gdb or delete.gdb or wrong info.gdb, khit ano, but make sure it is logical

for the other points:
just name them as follows : banco de oro@8th avenue easiest way: copy the address, paste it after each name. i would prefer all in one file if possible. (well that would be two files, 1 for the corrections, 1 for the waypoints)

hope all is clear, if not, just say so.

as for the pm to the judge:
1 pm with the link to all your uploads

correct would be:
if you want 7th ave in the label:
BPI 7th Ave@Rizal Avenue Ext 1350#023644541

without 7th ave in the label:
BPI@Rizal Avenue Ext 1350#023644541

the between 6th and 7th not needed (gps!), caloocan gets added automatically by me.
please have the phone in such a format a gsm can dial it (so you can dial it out of gmxt or nuvi)

the corrections: no need to put the correct entries there, only the wrong ones as i delete all that comes from that file... (hope this is clear)

I sure hope we can encode it such as we can search for the address from our GPS, then complete address and phone number will appear.

Well, maybe, we can contact the banks' main office,a nd teach them to do it, so they can help encode it. Then the drugstores, the hospitals, food chains, etc.
