GTR#14, Cebu, 7th Aug
This is 'Raw' Data from my Wintek WBT-201 converted to .gpx, up loaded into Mapsource.
This is split into 3 SECTIONS since the middle section is NEW i.e. not on RG2.0.
I then saved as a .gdb File (attached) as you 'prefer' (as it much smaller file size than .gpx)
This New Track will be submitted to Upload your tracks here for next mapversion by 'Newbie' James Parker who now has a Garmin Nuvi, also.
If James has trouble submitting, then I will post, just that section, to the correct Thread, for New Track submissions, with WayPoint Notes,
This important as it very rough, deeply rutted, and steep track in places.
There was also a landslide at some point towards the South end of that section.
Don't Ride that track if raining or alone is our WARNING!
The track had fallen away and was made wider, by building a rock wall, resting on a Palm trunk as a foundation. It is narrow, just wide enough for a motorcycle, but the problem us the steep ascent with little traction. Go fast enough to make it up and one mistake could mean you and /or motorcycle follows the land that slid down. Pushing it up, with engine assist, is probably the best, and relatively safe' method, as Brett (govoner) demonstrated.
We also suggest anyone considering riding the Southern section after the road intersection (as shown on RG map) takes extreme care if it has been raining!
See our GTR#14 Ride Report and Video's taken by Brett (govoner).
