Submitting Tracks

I submitted some tracks for a road that contained some unpaved areas, some paved areas and some 4X4 areas. It was published in version 2.38 with all unpaved roads. Did I submit in the wrong format?

i remember this now...
the indications are quite confusion for me.
start and end of unpaved or paved should be indicated by 2 separate waypoints.
current indication of waypoints are alternately paved and unpaved, its
difficult to judge the extent of each portion.

I've been marking the the tracks I uploaded like this for a couple years now. First time I've heard they are confusing. Do you have a standard that is less confusing?

if one or two separation its easy, but for this stretch of road, you marked several separation.

you have several waypoints alternately placed as paved or unpaved.
how would i know the extent of each paved and unpaved portion?

i would reflect my understanding, just check it when 239 comes out.

Many of the unpaved roads in the mountains of rural Cebu get paved only where the road gets steep. The heavy rains make the steep areas wash away quickly. I think the LGU would like to pave everything but can't afford it. So they only pave the steep parts of the road or high usage areas like in front of schools. This creates a road with many unpaved and paved areas. I try to mark them with WP's (Unpaved 1, paved 1, ect...). I agree the tracks can be a bit difficult to understand but I have not seen a better way to mark them yet.

there is a better way...
just mark a paved portion with 2 waypoints, one at start of paved portion, the 2nd waypoint denoting the end of paved portion.
you can do the same for unpaved portion.
that way there will be no guessing on my part where i will cut those portions.

as per your original upload, i could add it but it would take some guestimates on my part, you just have to check it when the updated
version comes out.
