    Garmin Mobile for laptops

Any opinion if this is an effective way of going around capturing tracklogs for contribution?

get nroute, as that allows you to use 1s tracklogs not stick on route.
garmin mobile is no good for tracking, nroute is much, much better
How to get the upgraded map.

Cool, so basically with nRoute, RoadGuide Demo map, GPS10 wireless receiver, and laptop anyone can go around and perform a survey and accurately build maps for contribution/compiling? I believe Mapsource need to be installed too for nRoute to work if I read correctly.

Its so much easier to use a laptop so you can name streets and POI in real time while on the move and capture more. Maybe integrate street addresses too?

          Sir Jan,

Sorry to bump this thread, but having recently found out running MobileXT for tracks is not very effective, I am going to give this one a go to see if I can contribute tracks as well.
Will let you know how I get on

          Pete
