There is no assurance that the maps here will work on other brands. You can try if you want. To be perfectly sure, bring a Garmin unit.

Yes, Davao is included in the map. Hth.

I have used the map from Batangas To Ilocos Norte and I can vouch for its accuracy. I'm sure it would be the same for the rest of the country.

                  bro,

was using the map here in davao that i downloaded from this site. i wouldn't recommend it. super kulang kaayo ang mga dalan and the streets have no name. even the flyover in bajada isn't on the map. im using a different map now and so far, so good. all street names are there.

im still trying to get my hands on mapsource so that i could contribute and place davao on a descent GPS map.

                    hi sir carloextreme,
what you areusing is the 5.17 or5.08 map which is the teaser map.
if you become a contibutor then you will be using the contributors map which is much much more complete map, about 12mb more as of this writing.
hope to see your contribution soon

good day and God Bless sir

As posted by hbt, the standard map that you've downloaded might not be that detailed. If you search this forum, you'll see that there's actually a thread where you can download Mapsource. Please check it out. After you install Mapsource, download the demo map v1.07 and check out the differences between the standard map v5.08 (appears as v5.17 in Mapsource btw) and the latest v1.07 map that's available to contributors. Now that you see the current map coverage for Davao, you're in position to contribute not only for you to get the contributor's map but for improving the coverage for Davao. HTH

There is a manual... use file explorer and look for the mapsource folder in your hard drive (assumes you have installed mapsource). The MapsourceManual.pdf (size 987kb) should be inside that folder. If it's not, i'll try to upload it here...
