I just bought a BB 8900.

I was thinking of buying mobile XT for it but BB forums indicate that it uses online maps and not maps saved in /media card/Garmin Folder. Anyway, I have my Nuvi for navigating.

I found 2 SWs though that can be used to record tracks: bbTracker and GPSLogger. Both can record at 1 sec intervals. Pretty simple apps that does the job.

UPDATE:

I tried the GPS on my BB 8900. If the numbers are to be believed, it logs at 0.86m accuracy with an external antenna! The best my Nuvi can get is 2m and my iPhone 9m, both with the same external antenna.
