Hi Mjay, not sure what you mean by manipulate specs but basically what this Ecoroute do is to check if your system (your vehicle) if it has some errors/ faults like cylinder misfires etc.. Its connected to the car computer sensors, once you have an error, you can check in internet or contact your dealer. You can reset to clear all the errors and reset your check engine lights.. It also depends on your your vehicle type and not all vehicle will allow resetting of error codes. I hav'nt tried it yet and I don't like it as it means I have a problem with my car

Hello Jspalaroan, yup basically resetting those specs. Some high-tech cars will warn/prompt you with maintenance schedules not just errors. Car dealers like BMW, Benz will charge you with a huge amount of money for the diagnostics along with the repair and reset. I just called up toyota yesterday and they charge 1t for diagnostics. So big savings if you can reset it and have the maintenance done ... say.. 6 months more?

But what is wrong with your car Doc MJay? Your vehicle is way newer than mine, so not sure if some kind of new software was installed, but mine never had this problem and she is like 13 years old now.

Its a little bit complicated actually. In summary, gas consumption problem. (More thirsty than other same model, same engine car).
