Mariveles - Bagac (Bataan) Offroad Route

Finally got to travel the South - West section of the Province of Bataan. Still unpaved with a few surprises, the area greeted me with surreal sounds of birds in the trees. The latest drought and wildfires have destroyed much of the trees but like Filipinos, it looks like Bataan's vegetation is recovering.

The offroad route is about 31kms long and is passable by 4x4 vehicles. Dirtbike and dual sport riders will surely enjoy this offroad section.

I just came from Mariveles last Sunday and was thinking of going thru this route borrowing my brother in laws underbone bike but was hesitant when i saw a river crossing on the map

Is this the "River crossing, Rocky Bottom, Min 1 Ft" described along this route?

Cool pictures, but did you know that I tracked this with a Toyota Corolla Altis? and with my family in the back seat, NOT KIDDING

On some of the top parts, before the river crossing, there is an intersection "Dirt Road to Paysawan" going out to the coast, we also passed a police outstation,
man they where doing big eyes and shoock their heads when we turned up in our sedan?
I was on some parts quite worried, but after the river, it was kinda too late turning back?
Verry relived then when we late at night finally emerged on the concrete parts under construction on the Mariveles side!

Thats the storry about this track!

Challenge: Maybe someone, prefarably with a 4x4 or offroad bike :sly: could trace the parts going out to the coast?

Cool, Jan told me about you. My 4x4 got stuck a few times, good thing your Altis didn't.

I tried again a week after a big storm hit, but this time on a bike. Had to clear small tree that fell and after reaching the river, we just gave up.
