          Culture of Preparedness

          Good post d1754.
Maybe we should continue this practice of posting any available data concerning natural disasters or geo-hazards. This continuous updates become our own small way of sharing information to the motoring community in particular and to the others in general. I have been espousing this "culture of preparedness" ever since I entered the service. And now that I'm retired, I still continue to advocate this culture whenever given an opportunity or a chance.
Attached is the latest (as of 5am, today) storm path.

Update on Typhoon KALMAEGI (Luis) as 1700H (5pm), 14 Sep 2014

For info, Typhoon KALMAEGI (Luis) is forecast to accelerate West-Northwestward. Landfall over eastern Luzon is expected in the next six hours which will induce a short lived weakening trend as the rough terrain of Luzon disrupts the low level inflow. Attached is the latest storm path.
