Looks like uploading waypoints with proximity alerts doesn't work via mapsource, only via POI Loader.

I made some waypoints with alerts (humps in our subdivision ) and uploaded them via POI Loader. They work like a charm.

Last night I made some more, this time Pedestrian Lanes, and used Mapsource to upload them to my Nuvi. Didn't work.

Just thought I'd mention it.
