easy to medium bike difficulty with gradual uphill . 10 km from mimosa. bring your own food and drink all you can at the spring

        Very nice, thanks for sharing!

Btw, you using a RAM mount for the 60CSx? Medyo malabo kasi your pic of the 60CSx but i can make out the ball of the mount, sort of. I had one but found it too heavy so never bothered to use it in the bike. Instead, i used the Garmin handlebar mount and no complaints so far.

My impression as well, it is for motorbikes. I got mine at Amazon, together with the RAM mount and the 60CSx http://www.amazon.com/GARMIN-010-104.../dp/B000196C2A (bought the two mounts bec. some reviewers of the Garmin mount at Amazon recommended instead the RAM as more stable than the Garmin mount...)

It's very light and easy to unclip when you dismount and leave the bike for a while. There is a DIY option though for the RAM mount that i found here http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Garmin_GPSMap_60Cx_60CSx/. Suggest you join this group to get more tips. Pics of the DIY mount on the bike here http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Garmin...61155/pic/list. Only disadvantage i see is medyo hindi madali tangalin the GPS from the mount.

              Nice ride Nandyg1.

Did you have to pay the barangay fee and hire a local guide? I heard they do that for other 4x4s and motorbikes.

              Thanks.

no fees paid whatsoever. aetas are very friendly folk. in fact we just came back from the same place the other day this time with my two sons and some friends and had a blast biking as the rains changed the terrain a little bit from the last time. the hot spring was still there though.
