I tried simulating it on mapsource. I chose pavilion mall and shell slex as the points. It correctly simulated the route at 2.8 miles. But when I invert the route it chooses the longer route at 3.3 miles.
I think there is still some error near the waypoint I marked.

you mean it chooses carmona exit? it should be as it is the most logical route. it cannot go back as slex northbound is one-way. going back thru carmona exit, then slex southbound and exiting mamplasan again is 5.9 miles which is longer than the 3.3 miles you mentioned above.

You're right, I chose the wrong route to simulate.
I tried another route and the mamplasan exit does indeed seem ok.
I just recently updated my navigation software so I'll see how it goes later. Thanks.
