Repair/Salvage a broken 760

seems like a common fault in the 760.

my unit is already experiencing intermittent touch screen malfunction after only a year and a half

as far as i'm concerned unit was never dropped.

i experience total failure (no inputs whatsoever) on some days, and partial failure (touch 1cm lower on your intended input) on others, and now its back to working perfectly fine.

Thanks to all who provided inputs specially those who suggested links for the replacement part. Just an update, was able to order a digitizer from ebay. $6 lang yung part. Unfortunately, DHL and additional duties from customs added around $35 to the total cost. The unit has now been repaired and working na ulit.

I dropped my 1350 onto the pavement and need to replace the screen. Everything else seems to be working except the touchscreen. can you please share the name of your seller in ebay? the only ones i found selling the item charge around USD20 and do not ship to the philippines. also, would like to know where you had your unit serviced. TIA
