i remember this when you said you lost your 276c.
turns out to be a bad omen.
Why Kuya Reiji and Chaz? Did something happen to your 278c?

    Why bad omen?

I will drink to that. So true... pinoys in the provinces are so kind-hearted and innocent. They would extend a hand to a stranger anytime without expecting something in return.

The City of San Fernando is also known for its hospitality and warm welcome behavior of people..I am sure people will not disagree with me ... so such a welcome stories are not an unusual kind of stories..Anyways it reflects and throws the light on the people and culture.

                    My experiance in the Philippines

I am also a guest here, and been here now for 6.5 years, when I'm going out on a trip or tell anyone I am going out, they usually panic, saying there are thieves or NPA in there and best stay on the toll roads etc, or even best not to go out!!!

At first I listened, but after a while, I decided to ignore these warnings, and to my amazement, I have never had trouble, been north to Baguio and Isabella all the way down to Naga, and on Mindoro Island, all away from the tourist areas, and I never had am ounce of trouble, of course being white I get the stares and smiles, but

I just smile to everyone back, I have sat having a coffee and 13 year old school girls come and join me, just to chat and practise their English, and of course they are very curious about me. And I tell them the why and wherefore I am their.

I used to take those doubting thomases with me, at first, I showed them that their was nothing to fear. But now I travel alone to many strange places, and I am very more careful in my driving because of the Philippine strange laws for drivers, other than that I love every minute of it.

Of course taking my partner garmin everywhere I go.

Love the People, but avoid always on the lookout......
