After uploading the data via Mapsourse, I was surprised to see that the tracks recorded are way way off. Please see the screenshot attachment.

Any idea what's causing this "off-track" problem? Thanks.

what you have here is the ordinary nuvi track and it will appear like that always. try to record with 1 sec. track recording and see the difference
Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend.

thanks for the reply hbt... reading from recent forums, it appears that the 255W, with its latest firmware, is not capable of 1 sec track recording... i'm not sure about the 1350 though..

Kuya, I think you are referring to Screenshot feature of the Gps- The camera icon appears on the screen once its enabled. Then you will be able to take the screenshot. This will be save as bitmap file in the screen folder inside Garmin.

Oh I see...the sounds was a bit loud when taking shots... Is there a need to take a screenshot during track reading?hmmm...

                Thanks thanks Sir Jimmy.

Best to take screenshots where you think there is something wrong or bugs with the map in your current location. You can then post it once you upload say in correction thread to support your post. If you are using the free ver. of map at the moment, there might be some errors that need correction. But the current contributors map, we are always hoping to have few bugs etc. I think you can do also the screenshots even on simulation mode of your gpsr .

not really. the appearance of the camera is just a side-effect of the activation of the 1-sec logging. a minor annoyance imo.
